Question
my husband re did our hardwood floors, not too dark, we did not stain them just polyurethene.. they came out beutiful, dark green walls with white border all around, in parlor, white curtains very pretty, I would like to know what color of furniture we should buy to match our parlor. light brown that matches our floors?..etc...thank you

Answer
Your space sounds lovely! It's nice to create contrast so if you are not adding a rug than I would choose either white or a darker stained wood maybe a walnut or mahogany. If you are adding a rug than I think having the same wood finish as the flooring would look fine as well. Hope this helps! Good Luck.
