Question
What color wood flooring should I choose for a bedroom with oak furniture? Should the colors be the same or can I use a cherry or hickory. I would like to use darker.

No the wood flooring in your home does not need to match your furniture. In fact if you look through design magazines you will see a mixture of wood colors. It makes the room look more interersting & updated when there is contrast between your furniture & flooring. Hope that helps! If you need a custom rug after you get your hardwood floors...let us know.
