Decorating & Furniture/Burgundy window treatments

Hi Jenny,
I have a very open floor plan. When you enter the front you see all three levels. My front window is a very large with the half circle on top (?) and you can see the french doors in upper floor dining/kitchen area. I really like the burgundy treatments on them now but we have chosen a very neutral taupe shade for the paint. I guess my question is if I can keep my existing treatment? I am also thinking of making a chase lounge for the small main floor room, any suggestions for a color?

I don't see any problem with the burgandy and the taupe.  If you like it, keep it.  If you like the burgandy well enough, why not make the chase the same color, pulling the two together?

If you want another color choice, consider a chocolate brown.

Visit my web site at: Decor: I've written about it, planned it, designed it and colored it, and I've never stopped loving it. It's not what you spend, or who made it, it's how it makes you feel.

College, advertising, public relations, marketing, free-lance writing and a plethora of creative endeavors have led me here. As an entrepreneur in decorative product design, I learned the hard way how tough it can be to be in business for yourself. A stint at a law firm taught me humility too. Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help. Obviously, I'm still here and still taking your questions. God Bless You!
