Question
Hi Jenny,
We have chocolate brown leather furniture and cannot decide a wall color and/or accessory colors. I see that one suggestion is for a turquoise blue, but we don't care for that color. Any other suggestions? The area rug has muted colors of sage/beige/plum. Would it be wise to replace the rug with something that has bright colors so the furniture doesn't look so boring? Thanks!!

Answer
My suggestion is to consider a powder blue for the wall color.  It's a beautiful combination and very "today".  If you don't care for blues in general, then opt for the sage (a pale version) for the walls to give your space some contrast.

Changing the area rug is up to you.  It sounds fine to me.

Regards,
Jenny
