Question Hi! We are getting ready to paint our living room, and I am tired of white! Our carpet still has a few good years left. It is dark green/blue...not turquoise, but green with a bluish tint. Could you please suggest some colors which would look good with it? Thanks a million!
Answer Hi Melinda,
Thanks for writing and for your question. Wanting color on your walls is a very good thing! Here are some color suggestions that will work well with your carpet: taupe (Glidden's Toasty Grey), pale yellow (Glidden's Chiffon), various shades of blues and greens (match to your carpet sample) and Glidden's Petite Peach or Glidden's Fleur De Lis (a pale voilet),

Decor: I've written about it, planned it, designed it and colored it, and I've never stopped loving it. It's not what you spend, or who made it, it's how it makes you feel.
College, advertising, public relations, marketing, free-lance writing and a plethora of creative endeavors have led me here. As an entrepreneur in decorative product design, I learned the hard way how tough it can be to be in business for yourself. A stint at a law firm taught me humility too. Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help. Obviously, I'm still here and still taking your questions. God Bless You!
