Decorating & Furniture/Design

I have cherrywood bedroom furniture with silver accents (knobs).  Bedroom color scheme is peanut butter wall color, white trim, comforter is beige, carpet is beige, curtains are off-white with pasley valance (some greens and beige).  I would like to hang some gold sconces on the wall but want to make sure that it will not clash with the room decor.  Could you please advise me on this.
(the sconces are approx. a foot a piece 3 of them, with a taper candle holder)

The sconces will be fine, "unless" you are bothered by metals that aren't exactly the same.  I personally feel they will be fine in the space.  You may want to add a touch or two of black to anchor the space.  You can do this with a vase, a frame for a photo or picture or as a side table/lamp.  Black always anchors.

Visit my web site at: Decor: I've written about it, planned it, designed it and colored it, and I've never stopped loving it. It's not what you spend, or who made it, it's how it makes you feel.

College, advertising, public relations, marketing, free-lance writing and a plethora of creative endeavors have led me here. As an entrepreneur in decorative product design, I learned the hard way how tough it can be to be in business for yourself. A stint at a law firm taught me humility too. Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help. Obviously, I'm still here and still taking your questions. God Bless You!
