Decorating & Furniture/Painting our Family room, kitchen, diining room

We have to paint our 1 yr. old, open concept home.  Family room, kitchenette, kitchen, foyer all open, kind of like 1 big room and all cathedral ceilings.

Have oak kitchen table and chairs.  Have light beige couch and recliners, glass and light stone bottom base of tables, hugh oak entertainment center.  All trim is white.  U shaped kitchen with medium beige tone granite (no yellow or green tones in granite) Curtains are gold with light creme and gone stripe in sheers.

Why not pull the color of the wall paint from the golds and beige tones.  There are some beautiful tan/gold tones that are classic and timeless.  Seek vibrancy and neutrality so you can add accent colors later.

Gather your paint chips (cut them individually) and place them on the granite top.  Select 3 which you prefer.  Purchase sample size containers of paint and apply on various walls in the room.

All color adjust with the change of light, so this way you'll find the best color that complements your existing oak wood and flooring.

Keep the white trim!  This will look so beautiful and crisp against the vibrancy of the color.

Have Fun!
