Decorating & Furniture/counter top

Question
I have an old kitchen with an orange square countertop.  I was wanting to know if there are any inexpensive ways to redo this

Answer
Velta,

Thanks for writing.

Paint! As you local paint store what the best paint would be to hold up to the daily grind on a countertop. You could also replace it with lanolium/fomica tops which come in thousands of diffrent colors and patterns. You can even get them to look like natural stone or marble. This is available at places like Home Depot, Menards, and Lowels.

Good Luck.
