Decorating & Furniture/front entry

our house is a ranch style with a large front porch and front door leading right into the living room, kitchen, dining room open floor plan. The entry window is right beside the front door and is at an angle and about 2 feet off the ground so is hard to put a table there. I would love to be able to separate the entry from the living room but the entry is only about 3-4 foot deep and about 6 foot wide at an angle on the one side with the window. It is a very awkward area. Any suggestions?

If a table is too large for the area, consider a large plant, and preferably one that stretches to the ceiling.  This may mean a large (and tall) pot, but it will add some visual interest while also separating the spaces.

Live plant or silk?  That's up to you and your green or not-so-green thumb.

Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help. Obviously, I'm still here and still taking your questions. God Bless You!
