Many people ask this same question! Modern furniture has clean, disinctive lines- many times has a more retro feel to it. We call our line of modern furniture- "california modern", warm, never cold or sterile which is what you see oftne in contemporary lines. Contemporary lines will be made of a lot of glass, chrome. Think Art Deco and you ar elooking at contemporary.
