Question
I have just moved into a townhouse.  I have a beige carpet with pink undertones.  I have found fabric for an olive green couch with a plaid olive and burgandy for pillows and two burgandy leather chairs.  Do you think that this will be to much of a "red and green" look?  Do you think that this is a dated look? Thank you.

Answer
Red/green are color opposites and they ALWAYS work well together.  Olive green is a hot color right now, and the short answer is "no" it is not a dated look.  Lots of folks are pairing olive green, burgandy and adding a punch of "yellow".

Thanks for writing.
Regards,
Jenny
