Eileen,
We are renovating our kitchen,do you know how I can purchase a custom (33 x 48") tabletop made from reclaim wood? We see this kind of thing in magazine but don't know where to begin to find it.

Nice to hear from you.
If you where my neighbour, you could walk over and I would make you your table top from reclaimed wood..its that easy. One of the easiest things to make actually.
So what I'm saying is it should be no problem getting this made.
Look around for little custom wood working shops.
Who knows, there may be someone with the right tools and a couple of reclaimed boards working from his garage right in your area.
