AboutSari Expertise I can answer most questions that pertain to general band information such as, the orgins, former band members, discography information for most countries and all USA releases, tour questions, and instrument questions. I can also answer questions about the band`s appearance on VH1`s StoryTellers because I was at the taping. I prefer not to answer questions about their personal lives but I can answer basic ones (like marital status, number of children, etc)
Experience I have been a fan for 20 years and have been collecting information on the band for the last 17 years. I have an extensive variety of magazine articles, books, sheet music and of course albums (not to mention singles and Bsides) that I have spent many hours studying. I have a (well worn) copy of their official biography, Animal Instinct, that serves well as a reference.
I have also been to many concerts- 32 in all. So answering questions about live performances shouldn't be difficult. I also ran a now defunct website pertaining to Joe Elliott, lead singer of Def Leppard.

Expert: Sari Date: 7/10/2007 Subject: Followup To Sugar Question And Sugar Live Show Question
Question Hi Sari, I just wanted to thank you so much for you answer about the Pour Some Sugar On Me question, I saw a question and answer that said Pour Some Sugar On Me was at #2 on the U.S. singles charts for fifteen weeks and then I saw on Billboard.com's chart that Sugar was on the singles charts for 24 weeks? I am just wondering if you could refer me to a website that has the peak chart positions of all of Def Leppards singles from 1980-2006 and tells me how many weeks they stayed at there particular positions in North America. I was also wondering if before Pour Some Sugar On Me was released as a U.S. single if it was popular at concerts in the U.S.A, Thank You so much Sari:Aaron Wake
Answer Unfortunately there is no one source I know of- my answers come from research and material saved from the 80s and 90s which printed chart positions.
As for song popularity, I believe the release of the single boosted its popularity all round; some earlier shows had songs like "Don't Shoot Shotgun" in the set list which did NOT go over as well as "Sugar" and were later cut.
