About Sari
Expertise
I can answer most questions that pertain to general band information such as, the orgins, former band members, discography information for most countries and all USA releases, tour questions, and instrument questions. I can also answer questions about the band`s appearance on VH1`s StoryTellers because I was at the taping. I prefer not to answer questions about their personal lives but I can answer basic ones (like marital status, number of children, etc)

Experience
I have been a fan for 20 years and have been collecting information on the band for the last 17 years. I have an extensive variety of magazine articles, books, sheet music and of course albums (not to mention singles and Bsides) that I have spent many hours studying. I have a (well worn) copy of their official biography, Animal Instinct, that serves well as a reference.
I have also been to many concerts- 32 in all. So answering questions about live performances shouldn't be difficult. I also ran a now defunct website pertaining to Joe Elliott, lead singer of Def Leppard.

Subject: Highest Selling Def Leppard Single In North America

Question
Hi Sari, I was wondering how many units or in other words how many millions did Love Bites and Pour Some Sugar On Me sell individually here in North America? Thanks:Aaron Wake P.S. Thank You so much for your past answers and help on Def Leppard.

Answer
Sorry for the delayed answer- not sure if AllExperts tells you but I was on vacation so that was the hold up on the answer.

Unfortunately, single sales are not tracked like album sales. The chart positions are recorded but as far as units sold, that info isn't recorded individually, just if the single goes gold, platinum, etc.

The only single to go Gold was Pour Some Sugar On Me which means it had to sell over 500,000 copies in the US. (Canada tracks separately and they do not keep singles records at all)

I'm sorry I can't give you more info- believe me I've tried!

Thanks again for your patience regarding this answer.
