Question What's the latest on the band's touring schedule? Are they going to have any U.S. (west coast, especially) tour dates? And is there any news on a new album release?

Answer There is no news of any tour information or album release date yet. If the band does tour the U.S. (and I'm pretty sure they will), the west coast is always included, however briefly.
The new album has been recorded. They should be in NYC by now to do sweetning, mixing and mastering. They then present it to Interscope/Mercury records who then draw up a promotional plan, marketing plan, design the artwork for the disc, etc. Do not expect anything any sooner than June. And depending on the record company's release schedule, maybe even later.
Sad words, but it's the truth. This will not happen quickly, but rather very slowly.
