Question
Besides brushing at least twice a day how can I help to whiten my teeth? would baking soda in water as a rinse help remove stains? Thanks

Answer
Hi Mick,
Baking soda mixed with water and used as a rinse would not help whiten your teeth.  But Baking soda brushed directly onto your teeth would however.

I suggest you put your usual fluoridated toothpaste onto the toothbrush.  Then dip that toothbrush into the box of baking soda.  It will pick up just the right amount of baking soda.  Now brush with this combination.  This way you will remove stains while getting your all important twice a day fluoride treatment.  The baking soda will also help prevent decay by neutralizing acids.  Great question!
