Question
i have recently had a five root canals and everytime the endo or dentist tells me the tooth was dead, so it was a good idea to do the root canal, why are so many of my teeth doing this? im really getting tired of the mouth pain, its one tooth after the other. help

Answer
Dear Lydia:
I am sorry to hear about your trouble, however, I cannot possibly answer your question.  There are many reasons as to why teeth become non-vital (die)... from trauma to old dentistry, from neglect to improper work.  Since you are doubting your dentist at this point, I always recommend a second opinion.  Go to www.prosthodontics.org and locate a prosthodontist near you.  The Prosthodontist is the specialist in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry and is the most qualified person to check your teeth and existing work.  I would love to examine you myself, but going to another prosthodontist should do the job just as well.
Best wishes,
