Hi,
I got a miscarriage last March 2008, I have visited mt dentist after a month, my dentist discoverd that i have a swelling hard palate, she told me to see her after two weeks for another exam, I was so scared to come back because i dont want to hear negative feedback about my situation. swelling doenst hurt, i dont feel anything. I am really scared of knowing that this maybe a cancer. Please help me.

It is really really unlikely that this is cancer!! The most likely options are that it could be a dental abscess from a tooth, or a blocked salivary gland, or a bony growth (totally benign and quite common).
I fully understand your concern and fear over going back - but you must go back to see the dentist. All being well they will be able to diagnose it and set your mind at rest - but you mustn't just leave it.

I am an experienced general dental practitioner in private dental practice. I have worked for the past 25 or so years in the UK, and own a busy practice in Stratford upon Avon, Stratford Dental.
