Question
i hit my tooth really hard and its a permanant tooth and its starting to turn grey.
is there any way that i can make it so it stops turning grey?

Answer
Dear Jordan:
Unfortunately, I have some bad mews for you...
Following severe trauma, it is not uncommon for a tooth to become non-vital, the tooth "dies". when that happens, the tooth darkens. You MUST have the tooth treated as soon as possible. I would recommend going to an Endodontist , the specialist in root canal diagnosis and treatment. the Endodontist will perform a root canal treatment and after that the tooth can be internally whitened. It can, then, be sealed with a small composite filling.  To find a qualified Endodontist near you go to www.aae.org or just ask your dentist for a recommendation.  Some general dentists can perform the procedures as well, but just like with anything else in medicine, it is better to go to the specialist, if you can afford it.
Best of luck,
