Question
So i read this and its exacly what i have same 2 holes on my cheek sinse i can remember but my problem is i bite my finger nail and i was pokin the left gland with it and it just went inside of the hole i use to poke it before when i was smaller but it always came out now this one wont come out and it hurts and i can feel the bump on my cheek were the small nail is how do i get it out what will happend? im scare and dont have the money to have surgery what should i do??? im 24 and also helthy im glad i read this there nothing onlune about pariotid salivary gland and i always have had this holes sinse i can remenber thanks >>>>http://en.allexperts.com/q/Dentistry-966/small-hole-cheek-1.htm

Go and see a dentist - if there is still a piece of nail in the duct then you may well get infection and swelling. The dentist may be able to help and if not to refer you to someone who can.
Next make sure you stop poking around these ducts!

I am an experienced general dental practitioner in private dental practice. I have worked for the past 25 or so years in the UK, and own a busy practice in Stratford upon Avon, Stratford Dental.
