Question
Is tooth resorption a risk of rapid orthodontic manipulation as with the use of such products that use progressive/stepped mouth pieces?

Answer
Hi Scott,

Good question.
In essence, anytime you move a tooth, there is a chance of root resorption. However, the more force and pressure applied to the tooth, the more chance of resorption occurring.

So to answer your question, yes, there is a risk.
However, if used properly, and monitored, then you should be OK during the procedure, with no adverse effects.

Please let me know if you need more help.
