Question I was told by one denist that a brige should not be attached to one of the eye teeth, something about the way the jaw moves. Reccemended implants. However my regular denist stated it was ok for the bridge to be connected to the eye tooth. The bridge would be connected to one eye tooth along with one tooth in the back.
Your help with my confusion is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Answer without seeing you in person, it is tough to give you a definitive answer. i cannot think of any reason that you cannot do a conventional bridge. no matter how the bite hits, you can always make it work on this new bridge. i do like implants a lot however. the big advantage is that you do not need to touch the teeth on either side. this is a huge plus. also, it lowers chances of things going wrong in the future i.e. decay under a loose bridge.
if you want a bridge, then i think it should be fine. if you do not want to touch the teeth next to the space, then go with an implant.
