Question Is it possible to start a braces treatment in Maryland and continue the treatment in Georgia?
I'm going to move in one month and I would like to start the treatment right away.
Answer Dear Rob: Yes it is possible. But seeing that braces treatments usually run for 2 years or longer, it would be wiser to wait until you've moved. One month won't make a difference in the overall scheme of treatment, and it is better to begin and end with the same orthodontist. As there are different philosophies of orthodontic tooth movement, you will want to stay with the same orthodontist. dd
