Question I got A route canal on the top tooth farhtest back. Don't know what number. Since i got this my nose has randomly leaked this yellowish liquid in gushes. It feels like i get a bad nose bleed except it isn't blood. Should I be worried or is this normal?
Answer Dear Michelle,
Although this phenomenon may be unrelated to the root canal therapy, it may be due to perforation of the root canal instruments or irrigating fluid used during the procedure into the sinus.
Either way, this is no longer a dental problem, and would best be managed by an ear, nose, and throat specialist. There is a possibility that you are experiencing a sinus infection, and unless the symptoms resolve promptly, the situation should be assessed.
Hope this helps...
