Dentistry/Hole in tooth

Question
I have a tooth in the upper right rear of my mouth that had a root canal done several years ago. There is a hole in the back of what is left of the tooth. I do not have any pain there but my question is can that hole cause other health problems? I feel like I have a cold all the time as well as constant fatigue. Is there possibly bacteria from my mouth causing these symptoms?

Answer
If there's a hole in the tooth there's a problem because the root canal therapy that you had done previously could get contaminated and fail, causing an infective process that could wear you down.I would have the tooth examined carefully and restored. Then have the Dr make a diagnosis if it's related to your symptoms.
