Question I have just had my upper left tooth removed, but my dentist said it broke and he left behind some of the root and he cannot get it out. What can I expect.
Answer Thomas - Leaving a portion of the root is an accident waiting to happen. The root has nerve tissue included which is susceptible to oral bacteria in saliva. You need to see an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to have that root removed before you develop an infection. Do not wait.
