Question I am in treatment for a crown replacement and a bridge. I am very upset because it has been very difficult for the dentist to recreate me teeth? I have sent them back 3x and now to a new lab. Also my temporaries look horrible and keep coming off the glue ect. i have been to the dentist about once a week for 2 months now. is this normal or should I be finding a new dentist? I feel bad they are nice but I think this is taking too long. It has been 4 months total withthe extraction. I am having 4 crowns replaced from 20 years ago. Do I stand my ground should I feel like its my fault??? I am not doing anything differently any help thanks.
Answer i can understand your frustration. this is taking a long time. has your dentist ever sent you to the lab in person to have the technician see you in person? this is crucial in these situations. maybe he/she needs to use a different lab. you should not feel bad. you are entitled to be 100% happy with your final restorations. talk with your dentist and see what he/she has to say about this. i am sure he/she feels badly but he/she has to figure out how to correct this and do it quickly. it is very difficult to switch in the middle. he/she has invested a lot of time in your case and i am sure he/she does not want to lose out on this. communication is key. i hope this helps.
good luck,
