Question
I received 2 fillings about 4 months ago. Since then I have had pain in my upper jaw that only goes away by applying pressure with my fingers to the bottom of my cheek bones. I know for sure one of the fillings i received is loose. I often feel it shfiting while eating sticky or hard foods. In the past 2 weeks my symptoms have increased. I am tired always, My upper jaw hurts very badly all day.. I have had stomach pains and the scariest was the other night when i went to bed all my teeth were throbbing... when i woke up i had dried blood on my teeth and sides of my lips... What do you think this all could be caused from?

call your dentist ASAP. if the filling is loose and has been loose, you can easily get decay leaking underneath and if it gets deep enough, it could cause you to need a root canal. a simple xray and exam will tell your dentist what is going on. best case scenario: the filling just needs to be replaced. so do not put things off. the longer you wait, the greater your chance of this being something more involved. good luck,
