dear doc i am dental student and my question is about the case who has hypertension or cardiovascular problem,how can i avoid increase blood pressure by using special anesthesia that has less amount of epinephrine kindly give me the name of some

Hi Heidar,

I don't know what anesthetic you are currently using, but you can get xylocaine with varying amounts of epinephrine. In our office, if we can't use epinephrine at all, we use Carbocaine or Citanest without any vasoconstrictor.
