Question
Our office had to ext a distal root on a patient's tooth, the problem now is  if i send to the ins co. we did this they will assume it is totally gone.  We also crowned the tooth.  How can I submit this to ins. co and have them pay for both ext of root and crowned tooth ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Renee -  I don't do the insurance in my office, but I would suggest that you contact the insurance company and explain it to them.  Sometimes, depending on the insurance company, you can just say that a root was removed.  So I suggest you contact the insurance company and ask them how to submit it.
