hello :) I just have a few quick questions. I went aprox.a week ago had my right lower back molar extracted. I ended up having to go back to the dentist yesterday because of dry socket, and I was treated with the medicated packing. The packing fell out this evening,and now I am experiencing a dull pain. I was unable to go back today to get it re-packed..here is my question by skipping a day of the packing, will that effect it anymore? and also should I still be sticking to a soft diet?

keep it really clean and chew on the other side(hard, soft does not matter...just stay on the other side away from the "hole"). call the dentist and get in there ASAP to get it repacked. you do not want the pain to return. good luck
