Question
Hello Sir,
I am Kavitha from mysore. Im having 6years old girl child. In the school while playing she fell down on the stone and got hurt on the mouth, and one front teeth was broken.when we went to dentist he told that one teeth is been pressed in,when she fell.So we afto remove the teeth.but we are very worried about it.Sir,please advice me what to do.

Answer
Dear Kavitha, trauma (hurt) to milk tooth especially if movement is towards inside of gum can cause any sort of damage to developing permanent tooth. At 6 years of age, its better to remove milk tooth; best can be done at the stage. After that constant checkups are required every 3-6 months to see the progress of permanent tooth.
