Dentistry/Tooth pain

QuestionRecently I had started having pain in what I thought was my third molar. Let's start off at I have not been to the dentist in 15 years, and I was really nervous about going so yesterday I went. It wasn't so bad...I was told that all of my wisdom teeth should be removed (all 4) and that i had 5 cavities. THe dentist said that I had a lot of tooth decay but he also said that it looked like I had good oral care, my mouth was clean. That made me feel somewhat better. I got Xrays done, and a treatment plan. I asked if the tooth that was bothering me could get fixed that day. So I went back a few hours later to get a filling in the secord molar, when the dentist came in he did not say hi to me, he just told me to open my mouth and began working. As he was drilling and picking he kept repeating OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, saying some things to the hygentist not to me, I started getting nervous and feeling very horrible (feelings hurt), i just assumed it was bad! He kept saying oh my god and then he said SHIT, i just thought this was unprofessional. He was very irritated and said that he could not isolate the bleeding couldnt fit pulp cap on and needed to put on a temporary filing and that now needed a root canal or an extraction, then said to me do you understand what I said. I shook my head no and he gasped as if i was stupid and then explained what had happened and then walked away. The hygentist looked at me like I'm sorry and said do you have any questions. I asked her a few questions, got a new treatment plan and because of the cost of root canal and crown I cannont afford it so I can afford the 250.00 extraction i have an appointment in the morning. After getting home the pain because worse as the minutes passed I took 800mg of Advil, no pain releif, after 40 minutes put orajel on my gums which didn't help, I called the dentist and the receptionist said to take tylenol and that would help/. Tylenol hurts my stomach so I took 400 more mg of Advil another 30 minutes later i got worried it seemed as if the pain had increased. I called back the office and said that i need advice of what to do. I got a script for vicodin and penicilian. I immediately took it. It relieved some pain but not all of it. My jaw was still hurting and my cheek where he was holding open my mouth with an instrument where it felt like he was trying to rip open my face. So now the problem is at 2 am i woke up in severe pain again i took another pain killer which has seemed to worked unless i open my jaw and there is still pain. I was trying to figure out where the pain is while it was hurting and the temporary filling is in the molar#2 on uperright side and the pain seems to be with my wisdom tooth next to it molar 3 way in the back where i can't reach it and feels swollen and looks very red. Is this normal? Is something wrong? Also i can't bite down because the temp. filing sends pain shooting up into my face. The pain associated with the 3rd molar seems to be also making my neck hurt. Please help i feel like the dentist hated me and was very mean and never want to go back again. I did request that he never work on my teeth again and another dentist is going to extract my molar 2 tomorrow.
AnswerThat's a rough experience. If root canal isn't performed the tooth has to be removed. There's really no way to calm things down the tooth has to be removed asap.It would have been prudent to remove it right then and there.Get to an oral surgeon or general dentist and get it out.
