Question my daughter (turned 7 in november 08)just had her 6 year molars sealed and she is having pain with one of them. Are there more molars coming in soon as she is complaining and complaining and anbesol is not helping? Thank you.
Answer Dear laura,
It is highly unlikely that your daughter at age 7 would have any new teeth erupting in the immediate vicinity of the first permanent molars, so I would exclude this possibility as an explanation for her pain.
Pain is a non-specific symptom, and its cause cannot be determined without a formal diagnostic session. I suggest that you bring your daughter back to the dentist for this purpose.
Good luck!
