Question
i have a porcelin fused to metal full upper bridge attached by 7 implants
the bridge broke with 12 teeth on one side and 4 on the other piece
is there a glue/epoxy etc. that will attach the 2 metal pieces of the bridge back together

the bridge is 2 yrs old

i can get the bridge out
i have attached the full bridge to the inplants using tempbond before
my dentist is retired

thanks
lou

Answer
Dear lou,

No-- there is no cement that will provide a durable repair in this case. However, depending on how the bridge broke, it may be possible to repair the bridge by having a dental lab solder the broken segments together and repairing the porcelain as required. You will need to consult with another dentist to see if this is feasible.

Hope this helps...
