Question
Can a regular dentist just extract my root canaled tooth or do you recommend
an oral surgeon?  Are all dentists familiar with Root Canal Extraction Protocol?

Answer
Marissa -  If the tooth to be extracted is a front tooth, eye tooth or even premolar, the extraction is not that difficult on a root canal tooth.  If, however, you are speaking of a molar tooth with root canal treatment, then have a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon would be best.
