Question hi,
my daughter is 1 1/2yr old and she has a small cavity in her mand 1st deciduos molar.I went to a dentist but she said its useless to fill such cavities in children as shes too young and shell definitely be unco-operative and that GIC fillings dont last long. What should I do?i cant let her tooth decay like this!
Secondly why cant we use a permanent filling material like composite which will last longer and easier to use coz her permanents will erupt after 9-10yrs.
plz answer me as soon as possible coz im very much worried, thnx
Answer Dear F: I rarealy see children under the age of 3. If your child does have a cavity, and your dentist does not want to care for it, take your child to a pediatric dentist in your area for another opinion. I'm sure you will find a dentist there who will do the right thing. dd
