Dentistry - tooth growth

Expert: Dr.Mike Glasmeier - 9/17/2009

Question
my son is 7 yrs old he lost his two front teeth in the beginning of this yr for the 1st time. i want to know how long should it take before the teeth should begin to come in?

Answer
Good question,

The two front adult teeth typically erupt anywhere from the ages 6-8. If you are really concerned about it, you can take him to the dentist and have them take an xray of the area to see where the adult teeth are positioned. He should be expecting them very soon.

Dr.G
