Hi Matt!

I read this and feel for you I have a very similar use with a tooth. I thought it was a crack and had it crowned. I still have the same feeling on the area with the crown and it is bewildering to my dentist. I went to see about a root canal and was told it could be coming from a different area and was hard to tell if that would cause it to go away. I'm debating to have it done or wait but it bothers me constantly. Let me know how you end up! Wish you the best.
