Dentistry/Lateral incisor root canal

Please can you help.
I had a root canal done on my left lateral incisor about 4 years ago. Since then I'm having really bad pain starting from that tooth and shooting up in line through my eye, left side of my head, down my neck and left shoulder.
I had all sort of tests done like CT scan, MRI scan, I saw neurologist and migraine specialist and they could not find any problem. I keep telling all of them that it started with my tooth, but nobody seems to listen. My GP put me on amitriptyline 10mg at night and that seem to ease the pain a little, but some days it's still really bad.
I seen someone in Maxilofacial clinic and they said that it could be my tooth, because root canal is not filled right to the end. Do you think it could be my tooth? What would you recommend? I'm really suffering and my dentist is not interested. I would really appreciate any advice or knowledge about root canal and what problems can cause badly done root canal on lateral incisor.
Kind regards

Dear Mira,

OMG!  All that medical care for what is likely a tooth problem. You probably are a bruxer (have the habit of clenching your teeth), and this tooth, after four years had grown into your bite, and is now being kicked around by your lower teeth.  Or your root canal has become re-infected, and will need to be re-treated.  Please let them know I suggested this.  Then let me know what happened.

And if your dentist is not interested in your tooth complaints, fire him!
