My two front upper teeth have some soreness right at the gum line.  At first I thought it was the fact that I had burned that area on some hot pizza I had taken a bite of.  However, that has been over a week ago and I still have it.  Not constantly, but enough to cause me some concern.  Cold or hot water does not seem to make any difference.  I have my annual dental appointment at the end of July, and I think I should call to move up the date.
