Thank you for sharing your story. This just happened to me too! I also had some nerve irritation down the neck into collarbone area, probably due to the swelling. I found icing helped quite a bit. I am disheatened that my dentist wasn't honest with me. First, he said it was the local in my cheek (when I left the office), and now after a follow up appointment he actually blamed me...stating that I must have bit my cheek! I said, "Nooooo" and explained that I work in surgery and I know what a hematoma looks like.
