Dentistry/Crowns on Front Teeth

I had an accident and required 2 root canals on teeth 8 & 9
Should I have zirconia or procera crowns put on these teeth?

Hi Judy,

Sorry for the delay in responding.
It depends on many factors, that you would need to discuss with your dentist.

A. How much healthy tooth structure is remaining?
B. What type of bite/occlusion do you have?
C. How long/large are the teeth?
D. How esthetically oriented are you?
E. Are the Zirconia crowns plain Zirconia, or are they covered with porcelain?

If you have less tooth structure, with a stronger bite, then all zirconia IMO is best. However, it may be slightly less aesthetic than the procera crown.

These are things to discuss with your dentist and to decide upon together.

All the best!
