Dentistry/tongue circles

Question
I have white outlined, painful circles on my tongue that start small on the tip and then expand up the right side. They are quite painful! I can send a picture...

Answer
This is most likely caused by a viral infection. Not much you can do except keep yourself comfortable.  use hydrogen peroxide and water mixed 50/50 and keep it clean. Also use a topical anesthetic until it heals such as anbisol.  It will resolve on its own.
