Dentistry/Saliva effect on Crown Bond

Question
During my crown procedure I had a lot of extra saliva in my mouth
that day while dentist was affixing the crown to the tooth.
Could this have affected the quality of the bond?

I was nauseous that day because I hadn't eaten and was uncomfortable.
I had a lot of extra saliva in my mouth during the bond process (furthest
back lower molar). Dentist had to use cotton balls. Could
this have affected the quality of the bond?

Answer
Dear Lenny,
please excuse the delay in answering your question.
I do not think the saliva interfered with the placement of the crown in your mouth.
Today's crown cements are made to bond well even if there is moisture from the saliva.
all the best,
