Dentistry/Repair on Bridge

Question
I recently chipped a tooth (in the front) on my bridge and was wondering if it was repairable.  The bridge is not removable and is not fused to metal.  If so, what procedures could be performed to repair the chip

Answer
Dear Kim,

Unfortunately, there is no practical way to repair a ceramic fixed bridge while attached to the teeth. Unless your dentist can tap the bridge off the abutment teeth without breaking it so that it can be repaired in a dental laboratory, the only way to repair the bridge is to replace it with a new one.

Hope this helps...
