Question
Hi Dr. Dalin,

I am writing because I have sensitive teeth & brush 2-3 times a day with sensodyne. However, I have never discovered or resolved why I get itchy teeth. This usually happens when I go for a run, or increase my heart rate.
Thanks!

Answer
Jennifer,
You ask a very unique question here. There is no real explanation for this. It sounds like you are merely "in touch" more with your body than most people. You are feeling your "pulse" in your teeth. I assume you are healthy in every other way...meaning you do not have high blood pressure or anything like that. Make an appointment for a checkup and have your teeth examined. Make sure they are healthy...no cavities and no gum issues. If all is healthy then do not worry. Good luck,
