Dentistry/Shifting teeth after extraction

Question
Hi.  Yesterday I had my molar (#15- that's the one on the top left, correct?) pulled.  Today my top left eye tooth feels to me as though it has shifted slightly away from my front tooth.  Is that possible this soon or am I likely imagining things?  Is it likely that my teeth will shift significantly as a result of this extraction?  If so, how soon does that usually begin?  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Briana,
If 15 was removed the only tooth you could expect to move would be the one behind it #16 if it's even present. When teeth are removed the shift is mesial (towards the front and the midline. So I would think it's safe to say your fears are unfounded.
