Question
Hello
I had a cold for a week now it's gone and just sinus's (I hope) but still coughing but starting last night I started getting pain from my bottom left temple to the bottom og my jaw, it hurts everytime I caugh or open and close my mouth. I was told it's my TMJ,  Could this be caused by caughing too much?

Answer
Beth,
I'm not a dentist or doctor, but I do have TMJ and try to help people with that  by drawing from my own experience.  I really don't know if your TMJ pain is caused by your coughing, since I never had that experience.  The only thing I can suggest is that you consult your dentist/doctor who treats your TMJ.
I hope you feel better soon.
