Dentistry/Teeth/Nerve Pain

QuestionMy upper front four teeth suddenly started to hurt me. The pain is not constant. It seems to start in the morning once I get moving around and last for about half a day, then slacks off...not totally....Sometimes the teeth are "on" and sometimes they are "off" I have been to an endodontist and an oral surgeon. I feel it is related to the nasopalatine nerve since it supplies the palatal structures around these teeth. I also experience presurre in the upper portion of my face, across both cheekbones and sometimes the ears when the teeth are "on". My question: If I pulled these four teeth would my pain disappear? The oral surgeon can't give me an answer on this. Believe me at this point if it would put me out of my pain, I would pull the four teeth and wear a partial denture. Thanks for any advice you can offer. I really feel it is nerve related. Also, if I press on the gum line above the tooth socket of any of these four teeth the pain totally goes away for all four teeth. If doesn't matter which tooth I pick. Please help. I have been to my regular doctor who is going to send me a referral to a nuerologist. I am at my wit's end. About fifteen years ago I had a headache that lasted for four months straight...never let up.....made the round of doctors and noone could help me....then it suddenly went away...this is the same pain I am getting in my face but now the four teeth are involved.
AnswerAbsolutely DO NOT remove your four front teeth. First find your problem then treat it. Don't impose a treatment (and a radical irreversible one at that)without a proper diagnosis. If you can't get a diagnosis the problem can't get solved. This is a basic tenet in any healing art. I know it's frustrating but if you act with your emotions instead of reason and you don't solve your problem I think you will be in a horrible predicament.Go to the Neurologist,go to another endodontist and os. DON'T remove anything!
Good Luck,
